Clarity

It’s WORLD BOOK DAY today, and as someone who has just completed a first ebook and has many more in her head, I felt I should blog about ‘something’ today, just because it’s a special day.

Then I wondered what I should blog about. I wasn’t sure. Until I thought about the weekend that had just passed. It was a special one. My daughter and I had traveled to a large city in France just an hour from where we are currently living, for a School Open Day. We had gone unsure of the education course my daughter wanted to take, unsure of the French system, unsure of her French language ability; so many questions were in our heads. We returned with TOTAL MENTAL CLARITY.

People talk about aha moments. We had one. What was on offer at the school was splendid, challenging, yet completely achievable. And we now had a plan. My daughter had a plan. My daughter had a goal.

So as I think about the weekend, I relate saving the planet to CLARITY.

Saving the planet is about being clear in our aims; it’s being completely transparent with ourselves. Be concise about the choices you want to make. Give yourself examples, give your family visual aids, communicate well. It is only through clarity that we see our goals and have a good chance of meeting them.
